Description
Nothing evokes a truer feeling of spring than a field of golden blooms. While the role of providing that field of gold is often left to daffodils, you would have to go far to beat the more stately and slightly formal effect created by a large group of Tulip Strong Gold.
Tulip Strong Gold has been awarded with an RHS Award of Garden Merit for its excellent performance under UK growing conditions. |

These buttercup yellow Tulips will roll out the gold carpet in mid to late spring, their classically-shaped flowers a show-stopper on their own or providing strong and grounding tonal contrast to other Tulips. Perhaps plant them along some showy red and yellow Tulip Holland Queens for a real extravaganza of colour or opt for a more sedate combination.
As you can see on the images, Tulip Strong Gold combines perfectly with Fritillaria imperialis Aurora, Muscari Armeniacum, Narcissus Dick Wilden, Narcissus Tête à Tête, and Tulip Purple Lady.
