Collection: Zephyranthes bulbs (rain lily)
Zephyranthes is called the rain lily, the wind lily, and sometimes the storm lily. And that's not surprising, as the delicately fragrant pink, white or yellow Zephyranthes blooms appear in large numbers immediately after the rain, producing a carpet of colour as if by magic. The flowers don't last long, but chances are they'll flower again after the next rains. Use them in rockeries, beds or borders in full sun or semi shade, and make sure drainage is good. You could also let Zephyranthes give your garden a country-like feeling, by planting it as an attractive edging along garden paths, between pavers or in among the grass on your lawn. The tallest of the Zephyranthes plants has a height of only about 30cm or one foot tall.
