Alocasia
'Hilo Beauty'
giant taro
Take a moment to absorb just how amazing Alocasia 'Hilo Beauty' is! If you’re already in love with it, don’t ponder for too long because this variety is incredibly scarce and in high demand. This unique alocasia variety, also known as Caladium praetermissum, could be the master of stealth in its camo-attire. But, really it’s not one for hiding away—you’ll want to be showing it off in a very obvious position where all of your guests will see it!
Grow this tropical bulb just like any other Alocasia or Caladium—pot it up and grow it indoors in the warm to start with. Once its unfurled a few of its wacky camouflage leaves (and once the weather is warm outside) it can be planted into the garden for summer. It’s spot on for an exotic themed garden, but it can also be kept as a houseplant in your indoor jungle if you prefer. Alocasia 'Hilo Beauty' is super cool and really rare, and this is your chance to get your green fingers on a bulb of your very own to grow and love!
