Collection: Siberian iris bare roots

Plant Siberian Iris (Iris sibirica) and you can look forward to an explosion of luxurious, velvety colour to get the summer season started with a bang. These reliable, hardy perennials flower on tall, upright stems around June/July every year, so you can enjoy their dusky tones among other early summer varieties like lilies, alliums and geums. They're so versatile—in a mixed cottage border they add to the informal charm. Among ornamental grasses, they bring a splash of colour to a prairie look. Siberian Irises can also thrive in a moist (but free-draining) soil, which makes them a good addition to a pondside planting scheme. Over time, Iris sibirica multiplies and establishes into a clump—as the clump grows, the show just gets better and better!
