Bow down to our latest king of the jungle plants—it's Colocasia 'Pharaoh's Mask' (and it means business!). This seriously majestic plant flaunts a strong look, with large reptile-green leaves which are corrugated with a ribcage formation of chunky black veins which curl backwards, forming a 3D mask-like shape. Growing to an established height of over 1m, it's fair to say this is a striking plant, and there's no doubt that Colocasia 'Pharaoh's Mask' will reign over your exotic plant collection with a heavy amount of authority.
This tropical perennial needs to be grown in warm conditions, so for best results you should start your Colocasia 'Pharaoh's Mask' bulb in a pot and enjoy watching it slowly unfurl indoors. You can keep it as a house plant or let it soak up summer outdoors in a sheltered, partially, shaded position. This plant is rare—keep it within its comfort zone and you'll be the proud plant parent of a Colocasia 'Pharaoh's Mask', which is usually very hard to come by.
Colocasia 'Pharaoh's Mask' is also known under its official botanical name Pharaohs Mask™ (Colocasia, variety 'COPHAMA') PP33772
