Description
Give your garden a golden glow with the lovely, luminous leaves of Polemonium 'Golden Feathers'. The foliage of this special variegated Jacob’s ladder is predominantly butter-yellow but with some apple-green dashes which bring a harmonious contrast as well as definition. From late spring, a profusion of pale lilac, bee-magnet blooms bring a third colour to the mix and the overall effect is pastel perfection!
Grow Polemonium 'Golden Feathers' in borders which have a little shade and rich soil. They look extra special in the scattered light of dappled shade, so if you have a bed or border under a tree you can use this light and dreamy ground covering perennial to fill a good space with a long-lasting lustre. It’s a good idea to plant Polemonium pulcherrimum 'Golden Feathers' in groups which can slowly spread out. The flowering stems are upright and can reach up to 50cm, and the lower leaves have a generous spread which covers a good amount bare soil.

Useful information
-
Soak your Polemonium 'Golden Feathers' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting.
Plant your "Jacob's ladder" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors.
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed.
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
