Plant anemones in autumn or spring, depending on when they are supplied. Plant them during the same season, as prolonged storage can reduce their vigour.
Fill a vase with a bouquet of these intensely coloured delights, Anemone 'Mistral® Fucsia', freshly picked from your own garden! This is one of the latest new Anemone shades developed by the very best Italian breeders and is absolutely zinging with vibrancy, ready to liven up your border and container planting schemes with long-lasting colour as well as any indoor flower arrangement.
Fucsia-pink blooms open from late spring onwards showing off their eye-catching bluish-black centre. Plant Anemone 'Mistral® Fucsia' in pots or in groups in the border to create stunning blocks of colour around the garden. And, if your stagger your plantings right into mid-summer, you can be enjoying these blooms right the way through summer and into early autumn!

Soak them in plain water for two to three hours before planting. This rehydrates them and helps to encourage strong, even growth.
Choose a sheltered position in sun or partial shade with rich, well-drained soil. For containers, use a good-quality peat-free multipurpose compost.
Plant 2–5cm deep and 5–10cm apart, placing them on their sides. Planting in informal groups creates the most natural-looking display.
Water after planting and keep the soil lightly moist, never soggy. In colder areas, protect autumn plantings from hard frost or start them in pots under cover.
