Description
Make a micro leafy jungle with this lush Hosta 'Mini Collection' of adorable petite varieties, comprising Hosta 'Sun Mouse', 'Pandora’s Box', 'Mini Skirt' and 'Blue Mouse Ears'. Together they make a cute combo which is balanced in terms of colour, habit and size, they’re just the job for pots or small border gaps in shady areas. If you’re looking for low-maintenance, long-lasting colour to brighten up the secluded spaces around the garden, for shaded small gardens, courtyards or balconies, look no further than this perfectly coordinated plantain lily quartet.
Shady areas needn’t be dull. In fact, they can be transformed into the coolest, lushest spaces to enjoy during summer. Whether you have a small shady garden or a small space to fill, scaled-down mini hostas like these are a good call. This Hosta 'Mini Collection' looks great in containers, which also gives them some height, and they’re also useful as a ground cover. These fully hardy perennials don’t ask for much in terms of care—once they’ve settled in they will grow back of their own accord every year with lovely leaves which last from spring to autumn, and the added bonus of bee-friendly blooms in summer.

Useful information
-
Soak your Hosta 'Mini Collection' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting.
Plant your "Mixed miniature hostas" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors.
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed.
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
