Description
Make space for Hosta 'Gravity Rocks' and create an otherworldly display of wacky, lush foliage. Rippling leaves like seaweed remain upright and have that tranquil appearance of weightlessness, the opalescent blue-green hue is pearly and illuminating in a shady space. The standout Hosta 'Gravity Rocks' is certainly going to be a talking point among plant lovers with those waves and curls, unfurling into rosettes which twist out from your border or patio pots as if defying gravity.
This extraordinary plantain lily enjoys being in a shady or partially shaded position, and it’s ideal for planting in containers as well as borders. As Hosta 'Gravity Rocks' is naturally fairly compact in size, we recommend elevating it by planting into a pot or raised beds so it can be admired up close. It’s also great at ground level and will fill space in a narrow border with its buoyant looking foliage. It’s all about the leaves with Hosta 'Gravity Rocks', however it will produce lilac blooms in summer which are attractive to pollinators.

Useful information
-
Soak your Hosta 'Gravity Rocks' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting.
Plant your "Plantain lily" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors.
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed.
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
