Description
For when subtlety and decorum just won’t do, we introduce Gladiolus 'Quepo'! From pale, muted buds burst the most daring, large blooms in an eclectic mix of creamy lemon yellow, blush pink, and cerise blotches. Definitely one for those who don’t take their plant choices too seriously—Gladiolus 'Quepo' is all about having fun in the garden, and we’re all for it! For a truly bonkers, psychedelic display, we have a good selection other plants which share the same ‘explosion in a paint factory’ vibe. Check out Gladiolus 'Zizanie', Lupinus 'Tequila Flame', Dahlia 'Twyning’s Smartie', Peony 'Sorbet', and Dahlia 'Honka Mix'. Go hard or go home!
Like many Sword Lilies, Gladiolus 'Quepo' benefits from a little frost protection. When planting in spring, we recommend adding a mulch or holding off planting for a short while until the worst of the early spring weather has passed. Once your Gladiolus 'Quepo' corms are in the ground, there’s very little maintenance required to enjoy a wild show of blooms from them during summer. If you’re into growing your own cutflowers, you’ll find that Gladiolus ‘Quepo’ comes in very handy for those boho bouquets!
