Description
You don’t get pale, lacklustre, wishy-washy colours with this beautiful perennial anemone! It is vibrant — and will jump out at you wherever it is in the garden. In fact, there are very few late spring-flowering plants that offer such vibrant shades of deep pink and near-purple as this plant. The double pompom-like blooms of Anemone 'Fullstar Pink' are packed with petals, which look amazing from the moment they break bud; May and June are the key months to enjoy their fantastic display of colour. A collar of vibrant finely divided green leaves throws in a refreshing contrast.
These impressively long-lasting Israeli Anemones are a real treat, and now you can be one of the first to grow them. Anemone coronaria 'Fullstar Pink' are ideal for the front of beds and borders in full sun or part shade. They are also great for mixed cutting gardens, as the blooms come on long stalks — just right for the vase; the 'Fullstar' anemone range is widely used in the cut-flower trade. The flowers look good, too, on seasonal rock gardens.
