Tulip 'Dordogne'

Tulip 'Dordogne' brings a warm, painterly glow to the late spring border, rising to around 65cm on elegant stems above smooth green foliage. Its goblet-shaped blooms are a delicious muddle of tangerine, rose, apricot and pinkish yellow, each tepal softly brushed as though the sun has had a go with watercolours. The outer petals show pinkish-yellow and orange tones with paler orange-yellow edges, while the inside reveals a glowing yellow heart, a red central band and neat yellow anthers. Long lasting and richly coloured, Tulip 'Dordogne' has all the poise you would hope for from an RHS award winner.
