“Squill” may not be the prettiest of common names for a plant, so perhaps you’ll prefer calling them by their more gentrified name. Scillas are charming little plants that happily weather the years. It would be difficult to find more intense shades of blue, and like Grape Hyacinths, they make striking companions for taller blooms. Like Crocuses, they’re wonderful for creating a meadow-like effect in lawn. Cuteness warning: prepare to be utterly charmed!
