Collection: Kaufmanniana tulips
These little beauties are very closely related to their Turkish ancestors and have very compact flowering stems that make them super-amazing when used in rockeries or as container plants. Because they’re so close to their natural ancestors, Kaufmanniana Tulips almost as reliable as Botanical Tulips, and are likely to keep popping up every spring provided you don’t upset things by digging the soil over. Apart from their blooms, which are truly lovely, they also have particularly pretty foliage that is often mottled or striped, adding to their charm and making them an attractive garden feature even before they begin to bloom.
