Description
Tulip 'Apricot Pride' is a beautiful new introduction: tall and elegant, with large, goblet flowers that go extremely well with yellows, purples, reds, pinks, whites—in fact, almost any other colour! It will bring pizzazz to both your spring garden and your indoor vase arrangements—it makes a superb cut flower.
To complement our Tulip 'Pride Mix' collection, we can now offer this solid beautiful new variety, which is both delicate AND tough! Delicate refers to its colouring—the flowers are of the palest apricot, with hints of peach-pink and cream. Tough refers to the fact that it is, like most tulips, perfectly hardy in the UK climate.
A darwin hybrid tulip variety (in Division 4 of the tulip grouping system), Tulip 'Apricot Pride' has large flowers—often 12.5cm—that are held upright on strong, sturdy stems 50-60cm high. Suitable for beds, borders or patio containers, it looks great when planted in groups of five or seven, and awe-inspiring in larger drifts. Even better, this tulip perennialises well when planted in beds or borders with good drainage: this means you can enjoy the stunning blooms year after year.
