Description
Highlight a sunny planting scheme or rockery with this sweet little fellow, Zephyranthes candida, also known as the white Peruvian Swamp Lily. During summer and autumn, beautifully simple white cupped blooms emerge continually between grassy leaves for a long-lasting and sophisticated display. Being petite in size, low maintenance and forming a neat grassy tuft, it’s ideal for tucking into little spaces to add that extra wisp of loveliness!
Perfect for a gravel or rock garden, these gorgeous alpines love the free-draining conditions and sunny aspect. These white Zephyranthes are tougher than they look. Though not fully hardy, they can cope with a very mild winter but are best given a bit of shelter from sub-zero temperatures to return for a repeat display the following year.
