Description
Rosa 'Isn't She Lovely' is an award-winning hybrid tea shrub rose with a particularly graceful way of presenting itself. The creamy-gold buds open into large, beautifully formed double blooms, unfolding to ivory and cream-white with subtle salmon-pink and golden peach tones glowing at the centre. This soft, luminous colouring gives Rosa 'Isn't She Lovely' a romantic but sophisticated mood, never too sugary and always elegant. Rosa 'Isn't She Lovely' is ideal for gardeners who enjoy classic rose beauty with a polished, contemporary finish. Recognised with the RHS Award of Garden Merit and the Gold Standard Award, it combines strong health and excellent garden performance with flowers of real refinement.
Plant Rosa 'Isn't She Lovely' in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny position, where its handsome flowers and healthy growth can be shown to full advantage. Its pale, warm-toned blooms pair beautifully with lavender, nepeta, salvias, silver foliage and soft apricot or white perennials, creating a border that feels calm, luminous and beautifully composed. Regular deadheading will encourage a longer display, keeping the plant looking fresh through the flowering season. It is equally suited to mixed borders, rose beds or a prominent spot near a seating area, where those elegant blooms can be properly admired. Refined, resilient and quietly radiant, Rosa 'Isn't She Lovely' more than lives up to her name.

Useful information
-
Soak the Rosa 'Isn't She Lovely' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting
Plant your "Tea rose" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost within a week of delivery and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed. Some varieties are a length of root which should be planted lengthways and shallowly (1-2cm deep).
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
