Description
Flaunt your fun side with this sweetie in borders and pots! Phlox 'Bambini Candy Crush' is a baby in terms of size, and compact is handy if you don’t want a large plant for the space, but it’s like a brimming bag of pick ‘n’ mix in terms of flower power and excitement. By no means does this hardy perennial Phlox 'Bambini Candy Crush' do things by halves when it bursts into bloom with dense, large flowerheads forming of clusters of candy-like pink and white striped flowers. To top it off, it’s even sweetly scented! Not only will you adore this easy-to-care-for plant for the high-impact colour it brings to the garden, but pollinators are quite partial to it too.
Phlox 'Bambini Candy Crush' is a petite phlox growing to approximately 35cm, with the most eye-catching, slightly scented raspberry pink and white blooms, each one looks like a candy wrapper! Preferring a sunny or partially shaded site in a moist, well-draining soil, they can be planted as standalone specimens in pots and containers, or grouped together in borders. This resilient little plant is hardy to -30°C and is naturally bushy in habit and extremely floriferous. Being a hardy perennial, you can look forward to Phlox paniculata 'Bambini Candy Crush' developing and spreading slightly over time. Each year it will return with more flowering stems than the last.

Useful information
-
Soak the Phlox 'Bambini Candy Crush' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting
Plant your "Dwarf phlox" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed. Some varieties are a length of root which should be planted lengthways and shallowly (1-2cm deep).
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
