Description
Whether you have plans for a prairie planting project or you’re cultivating the perfect cottage garden, Echinacea 'Sombrero White Purple' will work a treat in any sunny setting. A compact variety growing to around 50cm in height, it’s sturdy and strong yet graceful and pretty with its pink-haloed blooms which encircle the dark, cone-like middle. Bees and butterflies can’t resist these nectar-rich blooms and their busy activity bring life and added interest to the garden to the garden too. Flowering from mid to late summer, coneflowers like Echinacea 'Sombrero White Purple' are a highlight to end the season on a high note!
Echinaceas are perennial plants which establish over time to form a clump. Over years as the clump grows, more flowering stems are produced so your display should continue to improve as it matures. Pot up Echinacea 'Sombrero White Purple' bare roots to get them off to an easy start and then plant them into the garden after a few months once they’ve established some initial growth. Following a little extra care in the first season, they’ll reward you with low maintenance beauty for years to come!
