Description
Dahlia 'Dutch Explosion's flowers might be of a small variety as far as dahlias go, but this semi-cactus bloom will indeed blow your mind, as its name suggests. The tubular petals erupt in a burst of deepening cerise from a base of pure white. The result is a cheerful and almost glowing combination. The double flowers make delightful cut flowers, excellent container plants and Dahlia 'Dutch Explosion' will add small explosions of colour to borders and beds. Remember to remove the dead heads from your plants as the flowers fade to ensure that you get plenty more of these pretty blooms before winter puts them to sleep till next year.
