Echinacea 'Postman'

Pillar-box red is not a common colour for coneflowers, which is what makes Echinacea 'Postman' so unique. To add a little extra sovereignty there’s even a slight hint of a gold on those elegant downward petals, along with a big bronze-hued cone in the centre of each flower. This variety is fairly short and stocky, strong and usually self supporting, making it a good choice for towards the front of a border. Coneflowers love to be planted in a sunny spot where they will grow back every year, eventually establishing a generous clump which produces more stems each time.
