Each poppy-shaped bloom of Anemone 'The Bride' is formed of a single halo of petals which frames a zingy lime-green button at the centre, encircled by a ring of pale gold fluttery anthers. The flower stems emerge above a tracery of finely cut foliage, weaving lacy, leafy padding through borders or in pots.
Anemone coronaria 'The Bride' is fairly hardy and resilient, naturalising to provide a tranquil display which will return year after year in a sheltered spot. Carefree and versatile, this anemone thrives in sun or shade, blending into almost any planting scheme. Plant these white garden anemones alongside siblings from the De Caen group, such as 'Hollandia' and 'Mr Fokker', and the brilliant petals will shine like diamonds!
