Plant tulip bulbs from October to mid-December, once the weather has cooled. Until then, store them somewhere cool, dry and safely away from mice and squirrels.
'Supri Erotic'
A surprising name for a surprising flower, Tulip 'Supri Erotic' is intriguing and beautiful. Perhaps it’s the way the blooms appear to be wearing a dash of cheeky pink lipstick that landed them with their name. Chalky white petals with a blush of soft yellow are tipped in raspberry pink, which gradually intensifies and radiates down the petals. The soft and harmonious colours bring a delightful freshness and spring-like feeling to gardens, pots and vases. Tulip 'Supri Erotic' are proving a favourite with florists, who love these flowers for their pastel shades that blend so well with other colours.
Tulip 'Supri Erotic' makes a perfect cut flower, is great in pots and can be easily deployed in garden beds and borders. At about 40cm tall, with attractive lush green foliage, 'Supri Erotic' is a versatile tulip, flowering in mid to late spring. Its colours shout out "Spring!" and make it a wonderful choice for mixing with other pretty spring bloomers. It would look magical among a sea of Muscari, Chionodoxa or in a mix with other tulips in shades of yellow, pink or white.

Choose full sun or partial shade. Improve heavy soil with organic matter and horticultural grit. For containers, use peat-free multipurpose compost with good drainage.
Plant bulbs pointed side upwards, 15–20cm deep and around 10cm apart. You can leave a little more space between them in borders.
Water once after planting to settle the soil. Border-grown tulips rarely need further watering, but containers should be kept lightly moist and never waterlogged.
Remove faded flowers, then allow the foliage to yellow and die back naturally. This helps the bulbs store energy for the following year.
