Plant tulip bulbs from October to mid-December, once the weather has cooled. Until then, store them somewhere cool, dry and safely away from mice and squirrels.
With similar looks to the tulips of the ever-popular Rembrandt series, this striking triumph variety is another little nod to the renowned artist. The rich mauve markings on each petal of Tulip 'Rems Favourite' are like painted brushstrokes on a pure white canvas, and with no two flowers quite the same, each one is an individual work of art. These stand-out flowers deserve a spotlight position where they can put on a real show with their display of intricately-marked blooms – provide them with the perfect backdrop by combining them with plain or dark-flowered tulips, or amongst bold foliage plants and shrubs.
Triumph tulips are incredibly popular and well known for their outstanding garden performance. Flowering for many weeks, this strong-growing variety has traditional cup-shaped blooms which sit proudly on top of the tall, sturdy stems. If you enjoy fresh-cut flowers in your home, Tulip 'Rems Favourite' will not disappoint. With an excellent vase life and long stems for cutting, this flamboyant variety will effortlessly add that something special to any indoor arrangement.

Choose full sun or partial shade. Improve heavy soil with organic matter and horticultural grit. For containers, use peat-free multipurpose compost with good drainage.
Plant bulbs pointed side upwards, 15–20cm deep and around 10cm apart. You can leave a little more space between them in borders.
Water once after planting to settle the soil. Border-grown tulips rarely need further watering, but containers should be kept lightly moist and never waterlogged.
Remove faded flowers, then allow the foliage to yellow and die back naturally. This helps the bulbs store energy for the following year.
