Description
Tulip 'Rasta Parrot' is curious and exotic, and provides an explosion of colour and interest. It has intriguing, twisted, curling petals, of irregular shape and in unusual patterns. They are streaked with a variety of colours—just like the plumage of a parrot on steroids! The large, showy blooms are in a blend of warm red, orange and bright yellow, with hints of purple and shades of green: it is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face every spring. It’s perfect for creating a dramatic display in beds, borders and patio containers, especially when grown en masse in large swathes. The stems together do not need anything else around them to steal the show!
The exciting Tulip 'Rasta Parrot' makes an excellent cut flower—and is often grown purely for this purpose. It will certainly attract attention in a vase indoors.
