Plant tulip bulbs from October to mid-December, once the weather has cooled. Until then, store them somewhere cool, dry and safely away from mice and squirrels.
'Pink Size'
Inject long lasting colour into borders or patio planting schemes with this ravishing new peony-flowered Tulip 'Pink Size'. The delectable blooms open slowly from ball-like buds, gradually unfurling layer after layer of gorgeous rose-pink petals enclosed by a fresh and contrasting spring green-flushed outer layer. Its slow to open nature is what makes it so incredibly long lasting – just when you think it must surely be at its best, it just keeps on unravelling more and more luxurious silky petals and getting even better!
Classically pretty pink flowers like these are undeniably popular. Whether you love the cottage garden look or go for a more contemporary, architectural design, stately tulips with bog blooms can always find a perfectly fitting place. And, if you enjoy cutting flowers from the garden to display in your home, you’ll be delighted to have Tulip 'Pink Size's power-packed flowers to hand.

Choose full sun or partial shade. Improve heavy soil with organic matter and horticultural grit. For containers, use peat-free multipurpose compost with good drainage.
Plant bulbs pointed side upwards, 15–20cm deep and around 10cm apart. You can leave a little more space between them in borders.
Water once after planting to settle the soil. Border-grown tulips rarely need further watering, but containers should be kept lightly moist and never waterlogged.
Remove faded flowers, then allow the foliage to yellow and die back naturally. This helps the bulbs store energy for the following year.
