Description
These lemon-yellow blooms blend in well with the greens of the garden. Marie José Tulips have very attractive green foliage with maroon spots or stripes, and the showy blooms are borne aloft just above the leaves – it’s almost like a ready-made flower arrangement. Although the stems are relatively short, Marie José works well in flower arrangements thanks to a long vase life.
Despite excellent garden performance and a history of featuring in several famous gardens around the world, Marie José Tulips are relatively rare, making them an excellent selection for those who love unusual plants. Its compact growth habit makes it perfect for rock gardens and pots.
