Description
If it’s vibrancy you want in your spring garden, then look no further than Tulip orphanidea 'Lizzy' Its stunning blooms comprise six, pointed, bright red petals, which give the bloom a star-shaped appearance. The centre of each bloom has a distinctive black, basal blotch. This is a tulip that is a botanical wonder on its own, but when grown in groups is simply breath-taking!
With good drainage and lots of sun, botanical Tulip orphanidea 'Lizzy' is an especially long-lived tulip. It will return every year, too. It is strongly perennial — it naturalizes well, when in a position it likes —– so it will happily colonize an area. It is also ideal for beds, borders, rockeries, terraces and patio containers.
