Plant tulip bulbs from October to mid-December, once the weather has cooled. Until then, store them somewhere cool, dry and safely away from mice and squirrels.
'Let's Dance'
Tulip 'Let's Dance' is an exuberant performer in the spring garden, its lush, double blooms layered with rich shades of red to vibrant raspberry pink, each petal crisply edged in white. There is a sense of movement and rhythm to Tulip 'Let's Dance', as though each flower is caught mid-twirl, its densely packed, cup-shaped form creating a wonderfully full and textured display. As the blooms begin to open, Tulip 'Let's Dance' reveals ever more of its contrasting edges, giving the planting a lively, almost sparkling quality. Flowering in mid to late spring, it brings a welcome burst of colour just when the garden is ready for something a little more spirited.
Held on sturdy stems, Tulip 'Let's Dance' combines its showy appearance with reliable garden performance, making it a rewarding choice for borders, containers and cutting alike. The bold colouring of Tulip 'Let's Dance' pairs beautifully with softer pinks and whites, or can be used to create a more dramatic scheme when set against deeper tones. Indoors, a few stems offer an almost celebratory feel, their layered petals adding depth and richness to arrangements. With its confident colouring and generously double form, Tulip 'Let's Dance' brings a sense of joy and movement wherever it is planted.

Choose full sun or partial shade. Improve heavy soil with organic matter and horticultural grit. For containers, use peat-free multipurpose compost with good drainage.
Plant bulbs pointed side upwards, 15–20cm deep and around 10cm apart. You can leave a little more space between them in borders.
Water once after planting to settle the soil. Border-grown tulips rarely need further watering, but containers should be kept lightly moist and never waterlogged.
Remove faded flowers, then allow the foliage to yellow and die back naturally. This helps the bulbs store energy for the following year.
