Tulip

'Izumi'

As feminine as girls in ballerina dresses and edged with the distinctive crispa tulip fringe, the petals of Tulip 'Izumi' provide a constantly changing display. Their pink blush begins softly, deepening as the sunshine caresses the petals. Since the blooms don’t all open at once, you end up with a wonderful palette that includes many matching shades of pink. Watching your blooms develop their blush is fun, and the visual effect is absolutely beautiful, so if you see pink as one of the loveliest colours of spring, Tulip 'Izumi' is for you. To get the best effect, plant them in large groups. With so many shades of pink at once, there will be ample visual interest. Crispa tulips are also known as fringed Tulips.
