Good for cutting

Perfect for pots

Hand packed in paper bags

Hardy throughout the UK

Tulip 'Go Go Red' has recently (2021) bounced onto the scene as an edgy, remarkable new addition to the lily-flowered tulip family and is exclusively available at Farmer Gracy. Its narrow petals are not too dissimilar to that of fiery Tulip acuminata, making this an equally funky alternative. If you’re looking for something with extra flair and pizzazz, this 'Joker's Hat Tulip' is positively brimming with it, bursting out of its buds in spring like a jack-in-the-box!

This tulip is a born entertainer and wants to be in the spotlight. Not sure how best to show off such an attention-seeking tulip? Try combining this vibrant variety with contrasting purple tulips, dark fritillaria or go all-out dazzling by pairing it with big yellow daffs. Slip a sense of humour into your spring planting schemes with Tulip 'Go Go Red'. This brand new and exclusive, chirpy-looking tulip springs into life with a punchy pop of colour and the jolliness of a jester!

At a young age, Hein Huijg bought 10 kilos of tulip bulbs for 850 Dutch guilders from his savings. After one year, he was able to triple the yield and he kept 20 kilos of his harvest. Hein invested his profit in other tulip bulbs. This was the start of the bulb company 'Huijg Breezand' in Breezand, The Netherlands. Around the end of the eighties, John and Raymond Huijg (see photo) became partners. The company has grown to over 45 hectares of flower bulbs nowadays!
