Description

Tulip 'Double Blizz' is a brand-new variety and is not widely availableyet! It has performed wonderfully well in trials and we predict a very bright future for it. The petals of this tulip are delicate-looking, yet sturdy. They are fuchsia-pink and white, in near enough equal measure, often with green markings in the white sections. The flowers are beautifully bowl-shaped, and become even more dramatic when they open out fully. They appear over several weeks in April and May. From a distance, you could easily mistake these late-flowering tulips for dramatic peonies, so Tulip 'Double Blizz' is an excellent choice for extending the blooming season.

Don’t forget, this new tulip is wonderful as a cut flower too; its strong, tall stems are well able to carry the heavy flowers. Make sure you are able to enjoy its beauty close-up. Tulip 'Double Blizz' is in the tulip Division 11, officially named a Double Late Tulip.
