Comprising three tulip varieties, 'Ice Cream', 'Ice Cream Banana' and 'Ice Cream Strawberry', you can sweeten your spring by planting a novel outdoor planting scheme in pots or borders. 'Ice Cream' tulips are loved for their generous stack of petals which overflow like a scoop of ice cream above the outer petals, which are a feature in themselves with splashes of bright red and pink like a drizzle of strawberry sauce!
Unfurling all those petals gradually over a long time, Tulip collection 'Sorbetto' treats you to a long-lasting show of blooms from April into May. The stems are short and stocky, making this a good choice for your smaller patio pots or in gardens which are exposed. This collection creates the perfect planting combination all on its own, but if you want to add an extra twist of colour, try intermingling some Muscari 'Grape Ice'!
