Plant tulip bulbs from October to mid-December, once the weather has cooled. Until then, store them somewhere cool, dry and safely away from mice and squirrels.
Introduce a whole new level of luxury into your garden next spring with this majestic Tulip 'Double Royale' collection. Regal tulip sisters 'Orange Princess' and 'Red Princess' certainly make a decadent duo which will set any style alight, both varieties in this marvellous mix showing off large double-flowers, intense colouring and those signature satiny flame markings. If you’re looking for punchy inferno of colour to liven up your spring garden, this is the collection for you!
Plant this collection in groups in borders or large containers for a power-packed spring display. Perfect if your garden is in need of colours from the warm end of the spectrum or you have a bright boho or mixed cottage style. If you’re after a truly eye-popping experience, surround these vibrant red and orange tulips with others in shades of blue and purple! Opening slowly, the large double blooms last well both in the garden and in a vase!

Choose full sun or partial shade. Improve heavy soil with organic matter and horticultural grit. For containers, use peat-free multipurpose compost with good drainage.
Plant bulbs pointed side upwards, 15–20cm deep and around 10cm apart. You can leave a little more space between them in borders.
Water once after planting to settle the soil. Border-grown tulips rarely need further watering, but containers should be kept lightly moist and never waterlogged.
Remove faded flowers, then allow the foliage to yellow and die back naturally. This helps the bulbs store energy for the following year.
