This double late tulip’s high contrast colouring spreads from its variegated leaves which are unusually edged in white, right into the large peony-style flowers. The double layer of white petals resemble a bowl of vanilla ice-cream seems to be waiting for syrup to be drizzled over the top to create a really delicious summery image. And the syrup appears in the form of bright raspberry red streaks poured over the icy white petals. Tulip 'Carnaval de Nice' also provides fragrance in your garden.
