This French tulip has large blooms in an attractive fluted lily-shape, borne on tall stems. The petals of 'Blushing Beauty' are a delicious cocktail of cherry-pink flames blending seamlessly to apricot and banana-yellow. These soft colours create a soothing and balanced combination, blending beautifully with the fresh colours of late spring, and are easy to combine with similar shades for a breathtaking display.
Tall, elegant, late-flowering and undeniably graceful, Tulip 'Blushing Beauty' is wonderfully versatile. Its height can be used to add impact to borders, where it won’t get lost or go unnoticed, and it makes a superb cut flower thanks to its strong stems. Both outdoors in the garden and indoors in a vase, its fruity colours compliment darker plummy shades, as well as pinks, oranges and yellows.
Distinctive French breeding gives Tulip 'Blushing Beauty' an edge. Part of the Lefeber group of French tulips, its shares the characteristics of huge, vigorous flowers in an elegant fluted vase shape, with gracefully pointed petals. These tulips are also the tallest available, growing up to 70cm in height.
