Description
Looking at Tulip 'Blushing Artist', it’s almost as if one of the great masters has been at work, painting a tulip fit for an impressionist painting, with skillful brushstrokes, the perfect blend of colours and that unique flair that talented artists share. Ivory-white petals are infused with a bold brushstroke of olive green, and subtlest blush of pink is applied with the lightest hand. The leaves of Tulip 'Blushing Artist' are equally beautiful, generously full, in spring green with white margins, rising up as if to lead the eye to the elegant flowers, prettily pointed upwards at their tips.
There’s a vintage air to these 'Blushing Artist' viridiflora tulips, a group which dates back to the 1700’s and is noted for the longevity of the flowers, making them some of the longest lasting tulip blooms out there! Being late spring bloomers, planting Tulip 'Blushing Artist' is an excellent way to extend the tulip season in the garden, giving you many weeks of interest if you combine them with the early and mid-season varieties.
