Plant tulip bulbs from October to mid-December, once the weather has cooled. Until then, store them somewhere cool, dry and safely away from mice and squirrels.
'Bella Blush'
Tulip 'Bella Blush' brings a wonderfully soft kind of glamour to the spring garden, with large, shapely blooms washed in warm salmon and apricot tones that seem to glow when the light catches them. There is something undeniably graceful about Tulip 'Bella Blush', refined, romantic and never overdone, slipping beautifully into pastel planting schemes while still holding its own in borders and beds. Flowering in mid spring, it arrives at just the right moment to lift the garden from early-season freshness into something a little more sumptuous. The colouring is particularly effective alongside pale pinks, creamy whites and soft lilacs, where Tulip 'Bella Blush' adds warmth without overwhelming the scene.
At around 45cm tall, Tulip 'Bella Blush' is as practical as it is pretty, with sturdy stems that stand up admirably to blustery weather and keep the flowers looking poised even when spring is less than kind. That makes Tulip 'Bella Blush' an excellent choice for pots, formal bedding displays and mixed borders, as well as for cutting, where its elegant colouring looks especially lovely indoors. A few stems in a vase can soften an entire room. Easy to weave among other spring bulbs and charming from every angle, Tulip 'Bella Blush' has that rare ability to feel both delicate and dependable, a tulip with impeccable manners and a quietly luxurious streak.

Choose full sun or partial shade. Improve heavy soil with organic matter and horticultural grit. For containers, use peat-free multipurpose compost with good drainage.
Plant bulbs pointed side upwards, 15–20cm deep and around 10cm apart. You can leave a little more space between them in borders.
Water once after planting to settle the soil. Border-grown tulips rarely need further watering, but containers should be kept lightly moist and never waterlogged.
Remove faded flowers, then allow the foliage to yellow and die back naturally. This helps the bulbs store energy for the following year.
