Description
Dozens of tiny lavender blue trumpets on short spikes gather into a large ball of colour in the Triteleia laxa 'Corrina' - commonly known as the Triplet Lily. These balls rest above the level of your average flower garden varieties, creating almost a cosmos effect of planets above the earth. Each tiny trumpet in this garden orchestra is finely detailed and delicate, it’s six lavender petals creating dainty beauty around the centre from which the lavender stamens extend. The collective ball can reach 20 cm wide (8 inch) so they make a bold showing above their long-leaved curving green foliage.
The foliage of Triteleia laxa 'Corrina' lasts all year while the flowers bloom from the middle of summer till well into October.
