Description
Sedum 'Yellow Xenox' is a beautiful Sedum, with upright stems in attractive dark red shades. A mound-forming plant, it has fleshy, glossy, maroon leaves. In summer, these leaves are accompanied by clusters of dusky pink buds, which open to numerous star-shaped, creamy yellow flowers. As the flowers mature, they develop a colour more akin to ochre. The blooms continue to provide colour until mid-, and even late autumn, depending on the weather.
The heads may be left on the plants for winter interest or, if you enjoy flower arranging, you may cut the flowers (either when in full colour, or when dried at the end of the season), for indoor interest.
Sedum 'Yellow Xenox' is known to be low-maintenance, and is perfect for the front of a border in full sun or part-shade. It makes a good subject for a patio pot, too. The only word of caution is that Hylotelephium telephium 'Yellow Xenox'ᴾᴮᴿ (and in fact all sedums) dislikes over-wet soil. But if you have a normal soil with good drainage, you will love the addition of this plant to your garden—and it’s a great choice for attracting bees and butterflies, too.

Useful information
-
Soak the Sedum 'Yellow Xenox' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting
Plant your "Stonecrop" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed. Some varieties are a length of root which should be planted lengthways and shallowly (1-2cm deep).
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
