Description
Plant Potentilla 'Miss Willmott' and enjoy a long-lasting splash of sweet pink blooms in summer every year! This low-maintenance little beauty is incredibly resilient—fully hardy through winter and heat and drought tolerant during summer. If you have limited time to spend in the garden or just want an easy display, perennials like Potentilla 'Miss Willmott' which look great whilst requiring minimal pampering are just the ticket. Grow this cinquefoil in sunny borders, rockeries or gravel areas enjoy the show!
The dark-eyed flowers of Potentilla 'Miss Willmott' and candy-pink colour make this a particularly alluring cinquefoil. The five-lobed leaves are attractive too. If you’re keen on the cottage-garden look, informal, bee-magnet perennials like this are a must. Thriving in what can be tricky conditions for some plants, i.e. clay soil, sandy soil, coastal gardens and sun-baked sites, Potentilla nepalensis 'Miss Willmott' is defiant as well as beautiful. Try combining this with ornamental grasses like Pennisetum or Panicum for a pretty prairie look.

Useful information
-
Soak your Potentilla 'Miss Willmott' roots in water for 3-6 hours prior to planting.
Plant your "Cinquefoil" bare roots into temporary pots with a multipurpose compost in spring and grow-on in a sheltered spot outdoors.
Choose a pot which comfortably fits the bare roots. Some have a noticeable crown which should be just below the soil surface with any top growth exposed.
Plant out into borders or permanent containers in late spring or early summer once in full growth. Choose a position in sun or shade depending on the variety.
