Description
Peony 'White Cap' is a gorgeous two-toned peony that will bring beauty to any garden. It features a white center surrounded by a ring of purple to deep beet-red petals. The intricate blooms have a marbled coloration that makes this variety truly unique. The stemmed flowers reach a height of around 70cm and the blooms last from late spring into early summer. The ideal conditions for Paeonia 'White Cap' are full sun, moisture-retaining soil, and regular fertilizing for best bloom production.
The name 'White Cap' might seem confusing when its deep burgundy buds appear, but the second it unveils its white core, everything becomes clear. Laden with the same lustrous burgundy hue, the petals lighten with time and emanate a sweet fragrance making it worth a stroll in the garden.
