Flowering throughout autumn, this little darling will keep your spirits up with its cheery display of gleaming white flowers when temperatures start to drop. Plant the bulbs in autumn and first enjoy watching the feathery leaves begin to unfurl. Later in autumn and lasting into winter, this wispy foliage will be topped with a smattering of lovely blooms which untwist from tight buds in classic sorrel style.
Oxalis 'White Spider' is a special and also rare plant, and due to the fact it’s not fully hardy, it’s sensible to be a protective plant parent to it. It knows to flower when temperatures are cold, but it doesn’t want to freeze. Unless you live in an area where winter temperatures don’t fall below zero, we recommend growing this gem in pots so you can whisk it away to a cool but covered location on frosty nights!
