Description

Light up a dappled shade area with a twinkling display of Narcissus 'Petrel'. Producing between 3-5 starry flowers per stem, this triandrus daffodil throws out an enthusiastic and eye-catching display which you can look forward to seeing during spring every year. The gleaming white petals of Narcissus triandrus 'Petrel' are reflexed, which gives them a carefree windswept appearance, and a small white cup in the centre makes each bloom dainty and elegant. To top it all off, this Narcissus has a fantastic, sweet fragrance.

Narcissi are well known for being reliable and unfussy, and it’s no different for Narcissus 'Petrel'. Whilst it loves (and looks amazing) in dappled shade, it will also grow happily in full sun or full shade. Typically flowering between March to April, you’ll see this perennial daffodil grow back every year. As they naturalise over the years, they’ll form clumps which produce more flower stems, so you’ll not only get a display every year, but it will be even better than the last. It’s worth cutting a few to bring indoors for the scent!
