Plant daffodil bulbs from September to November. If needed, store them somewhere cool and dry, away from mice, but plant before they begin to deteriorate.

Narcissus
'Peachy Dream'
daffodil
Narcissus 'Peachy Dream' is one of those daffodils that seems to have wandered straight out of a spring daydream. Its petals are a soft pinkish-yellow with a warm yellow reverse, giving the blooms a gentle glow that shifts with the light. The real eye-catcher, though, is the ribbed, split corona—an artful flourish of salmon pink and golden-yellow that brings a delightful touch of theatricality to the otherwise demure flower. Narcissus 'Peachy Dream' is quietly bold, offering something a little unexpected while staying firmly within the realm of good garden taste.
Ideal for borders, spring pots, or a starring role in your seasonal cut flower displays, Narcissus 'Peachy Dream' grows happily in well-drained soil and a sunny to lightly shaded position. Its dreamy tones pair well with pastels and soft greens, but it’s also a lovely way to introduce warmer hues into a fresh spring scheme. Like most daffodils, Narcissus 'Peachy Dream' is low-maintenance and reliably perennial—offering year-after-year rewards with very little effort. Whether you’re a fan of the unusual or just want to add a bit of peachy polish to your spring display, Narcissus 'Peachy Dream' delivers a gentle hit of garden joy with a subtle twist.

Plant profile
Plant calendar
Choose full sun or partial shade. Improve heavy soil with organic matter and horticultural grit. For containers, use peat-free multipurpose compost with good drainage.
Plant bulbs pointed side upwards, two to three times their own height deep and around 10cm apart. Smaller bulbs can be planted slightly closer together.
Water after planting if the soil is dry. Established bulbs in borders rarely need more, but water during dry spring weather and keep containers lightly moist.
Remove faded flowers, but leave the stems and foliage until they turn yellow and die back naturally. The bulbs can remain planted throughout the year.
