Plant daffodil bulbs from September to November. If needed, store them somewhere cool and dry, away from mice, but plant before they begin to deteriorate.
'Little Kiwi'
daffodil
Narcissus 'Little Kiwi' is proof that good things really do come in small, ruffled packages. This charming variety produces fully double blooms in shades of soft cream to pale yellow, each one a delightful swirl of petals that looks like it’s been carefully hand-folded rather than grown. Compact in size but rich in texture, Narcissus 'Little Kiwi' brings a quietly luxurious presence to the spring garden—never brash, always tasteful, and with just enough personality to keep things interesting.
Perfect for borders, containers, or naturalised spots where its layered blooms can be properly admired, Narcissus 'Little Kiwi' prefers a sunny or lightly shaded position in well-drained soil. Despite its dainty appearance, it’s a tough little performer—returning reliably each year with minimal fuss. Its soft colouring makes it a versatile companion to other spring bulbs, particularly those with bolder tones, and it’s just as happy nestled among emerging perennials. Whether you’re planting in generous drifts or popping a few into patio pots, Narcissus 'Little Kiwi' adds a note of calm refinement to the seasonal display. A double daffodil with quietly confident charm—small in name, but certainly not in effect.

Choose full sun or partial shade. Improve heavy soil with organic matter and horticultural grit. For containers, use peat-free multipurpose compost with good drainage.
Plant bulbs pointed side upwards, two to three times their own height deep and around 10cm apart. Smaller bulbs can be planted slightly closer together.
Water after planting if the soil is dry. Established bulbs in borders rarely need more, but water during dry spring weather and keep containers lightly moist.
Remove faded flowers, but leave the stems and foliage until they turn yellow and die back naturally. The bulbs can remain planted throughout the year.
