This miniature daffodil seems to burst with enthusiasm, with its energetically swept back white outer petals and its peachy/salmon inner cups with their frilly edges. Narcissus 'Iwona' has a little trick up its sleeve too! When it first emerges, its cup is a sunset yellow shade, which then matures to warm peach tones. You can make the most of this cheeky party trick by growing a group of these daffodils together for a lovely colourful display, in warm shades that are just the tonic after a grey winter.

Flowering in mid spring, the dainty form of Narcissus 'Iwona' makes it perfect for massing at the very front of borders, in window boxes or in groups of pots. It will be equally at home in a rockery. These easy-going 'Iwona' daffodils will be happy in sun or partial shade, in a relatively free-draining soil or potting mix, and should return to delight you every spring. This relatively new introduction from Holland is proving popular for its charm and originality, and is perfect if you’re seeking something a little bit different.
