Plant daffodil bulbs from September to November. If needed, store them somewhere cool and dry, away from mice, but plant before they begin to deteriorate.
'Impreza'
daffodil
Elegantly understated, Narcissus 'Impreza' offers a study in purity and poise, bringing a calm, refined presence to the mid-spring garden. This small-cupped daffodil variety is defined by its pristine, snow-white petals, arranged with a simplicity that feels both classic and quietly modern. At the centre of Narcissus 'Impreza', the petite cup emerges in a soft pale yellow before gradually maturing to a crisp white, subtly accented by a distinctive green base. This gentle transformation lends Narcissus 'Impreza' a sense of quiet movement, rewarding those who take a moment to observe its changing tones. Planted in drifts or woven through borders, it brings lightness and cohesion to spring compositions.
There is a natural grace to Narcissus 'Impreza' that makes it particularly versatile in the garden. Its clean colouring pairs effortlessly with both bold and pastel companions, while the delicate proportions of the cup provide just enough contrast to hold the eye. Flowering reliably in mid-spring, Narcissus 'Impreza' sits comfortably among other seasonal favourites, offering a restful counterpoint to more exuberant blooms. Equally suited to naturalising or more considered planting schemes, Narcissus 'Impreza' is a quietly confident choice for gardeners who appreciate subtlety, balance, and enduring elegance.

Choose full sun or partial shade. Improve heavy soil with organic matter and horticultural grit. For containers, use peat-free multipurpose compost with good drainage.
Plant bulbs pointed side upwards, two to three times their own height deep and around 10cm apart. Smaller bulbs can be planted slightly closer together.
Water after planting if the soil is dry. Established bulbs in borders rarely need more, but water during dry spring weather and keep containers lightly moist.
Remove faded flowers, but leave the stems and foliage until they turn yellow and die back naturally. The bulbs can remain planted throughout the year.
