Plant daffodil bulbs from September to November. If needed, store them somewhere cool and dry, away from mice, but plant before they begin to deteriorate.
'Evanah'
daffodil
Narcissus 'Evanah' is a remarkable cultivar that rewards the discerning gardener with blooms of exceptional presence. Described as an improved form of 'Mount Hood', Narcissus 'Evanah' distinguishes itself through its impressively large flowers, opening in soft ivory-white tones that mature with a gentle, luminous clarity. There is a certain poise to each bloom, as though it has been carefully sculpted rather than grown. Narcissus 'Evanah' brings a refined elegance to spring borders, where its substantial flowers stand proud above fresh green foliage, catching the light in a way that feels almost painterly. For those who favour classic whites with a subtle twist, this variety offers something rather special.
What makes Narcissus 'Evanah' particularly compelling is its rarity. Produced in limited quantities, it remains a treasure among collectors and connoisseurs who appreciate its distinctive character. Narcissus 'Evanah' is not simply another white daffodil, but a variety that invites closer inspection and repeated admiration throughout its flowering season. Whether planted in thoughtful drifts or given pride of place in a cherished corner, Narcissus 'Evanah' proves itself more than worthy of the attention it quietly commands. Exclusive to Farmer Gracy, Narcissus 'Evanah' offers an opportunity to grow something genuinely uncommon, and undeniably beautiful.

Choose full sun or partial shade. Improve heavy soil with organic matter and horticultural grit. For containers, use peat-free multipurpose compost with good drainage.
Plant bulbs pointed side upwards, two to three times their own height deep and around 10cm apart. Smaller bulbs can be planted slightly closer together.
Water after planting if the soil is dry. Established bulbs in borders rarely need more, but water during dry spring weather and keep containers lightly moist.
Remove faded flowers, but leave the stems and foliage until they turn yellow and die back naturally. The bulbs can remain planted throughout the year.
