Description

Set your garden on fire with Lupin 'Tequila Flame'! This striking variety of the cottage garden favourite has bicolour coral red and yellow flowers which, as well as being particularly strongly scented, last for an impressively long time. Lupinus 'Tequila Flame' is a compact form which reaches just 60cm tall, making it ideal for dazzling at the front of a border or as a focal point in a pot.  

Lupins love a sunny, well-draining spot, and while drought tolerant, they do appreciate consistent moisture just as growth begins in spring. Often the UK spring weather takes care of this, but it is worth remembering just in case of unseasonably dry conditions. If you do decide to grow your 'Tequila Flame' lupins in a pot, make it a deep one. Lupins develop long tap roots and need plenty of room for these to grow.
